The 2020 Emmy Nominations for the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards has been announced on Tuesday. The Television Academy has made the announcement for this year today. This year, the renowned Netfilx has earned the top position for the most nominations in a year for the 2020 Emmy Awards. It has scored one hundred and sixty in total for the Emmy Nominations this year. However, last year HBO earned the top position for most emmy nominations. In 2019, it hit 137.
72nd Emmy Awards Nominations Announced
Due to ongoing corona virus epidemic that has grasped the whole word by its terrible swallow there is not possible holding any functional ceremony marking 2020 Emmy Nominations. The top spot has been taken the most known HBO’s Watchmen for program nominations with 26 while The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stands second with 20 which is followed by Ozark (18) and Succession (18). The Mandalorian and (15) and Schitt’s Creek (15) and Saturday Night Live (15) are followed by The Crown (13).
American technology and media services provider and production company Netflix, Inc. has set the record in the nominations in sum with 160. In last year, HBO took the first position for the Emmy Nominations. However, in 2020 Emmy Nominations, HBO took the second position with 107 nominations in total followed by NBC with 47. ABC follows NBC while Fix is the last among top fives.
