The nursing admission circular says that a student must have to secure a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) 7:00 coining his or her SSC and HSC scores. Along with the BSc in Nursing degree, the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) also provides a Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery degrees to the students who want to carry out their next move of life as a nurse. The BNMC has also fixed some conditions that a candidate seeking admission into a diploma in nursing science and midwifery must meet. The condition for the above courses is described below in detail.
Only the female student will be allowed to apply for the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery courses admission this year. Students from any of the three groups- humanities, science, and business groups- can be able to get the opportunity of applying for the diploma in the nursing admission test. How to Download Admit Card for Nursing Admission 2019
By using the new User Id and Password, the student has to download his or her nursing admission test admit card from the www.http://dgnm.teletalk.com.bd website. The candidate will be download the nursing admission test admit card 2019-20 at any time he wants. The applicant will also be able to download his or her admit card more than once.
So there is noting of worry if one either intentionally or mistakenly losses his admit card for the nursing admission test. Without the User Id and Password, one cannot be able to download his admit card or know other information relating to his admission into nursing and diploma courses.

Nursing Admission Total Seat Number 2019
This year the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) authority will enroll a total of four thousand and nine hundred eighty (4980) students under BSc in Nursing and Diploma in Nursing degree. The total number of collages under the BNMC is one hundred (100). There has a total of thirteen (13) government nursing colleges and institutes that provide Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to the students. The seat number if those BSc nursing colleges and institutes is 1200.
On the other hand, there was a total of forty-six (46) government nursing institutes where the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery degree has been awarded to the applicants. In addition to this, the number of the Government Midwifery Institute in Bangladesh is forty-one (41). These forty-one institutes have a total of 1050 seats. This year the concerned authority will enroll a sum of 1050 students under this current academic year.
Nursing Admission Question Pattern and Question Bank 2019
This year, the nursing admission test will hold under the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) method. There will be one hundred (100) MCQ questions in the written test in the nursing admission test 2019-20. The mark for each of the MCQ questions will be one (1). The pass mark for the nursing admission test is 40. A student attending a nursing admission test this year must have to secure the lowest mark of 40 to pass in the admission test.
Subject-based Question for BSc in Nursing courses: There will be a question from the following subjects: Bangla-20, English-20, Mathematics-10, Science (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) 10, and General Knowledge 20 questions.
Subject-based Question Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery courses: the nursing written question will have from – Bangla-20, English-20, Mathematics-10, General Science-25, and General Knowledge-25.
Nursing Admission Merit List 2019
Candidate Evaluation and Number Distribution: GPA of SSC (Equivalent) and HSC (Equivalent) and the candidate will be evaluated on the basis of the number obtained in the written test of the candidate. GPA score of SSC / equivalent examination will be multiplied with 4 (4×5)= 20 marks (maximum). GPA score obtained in HSC / equivalent examination will be multiplied with 6 (6×5)= 30 marks maximum.
On the basis of the merit list among the passed candidates, the remaining candidates will get admission in the private institution. Candidates having a score of less than 40 (forty) in the written test will be considered ineligible. Any candidate who has failed to secure the fixed pass mark cannot be allowed to admit to any Nursing and Midwifery Education institute. The candidate will have the opportunity to enroll in the course in which they apply.
National Merit List and Candidate Selection 2019
National merit list (with special quota if specified) will be published on the basis of the total number the candidate was ability to obtain. At the Government Nursing College / Institute, 2% of the total seats will be reserved for the children and children of the freedom fighters. Out of the remaining 98% seats, 60 % of the candidates will be selected in the national merit and 40% in the district quota.
The candidate will be admitted automatically on the basis of acquired merit list in the nursing college/institute according to their choices of the selected candidates. In respect of the children of the claimants of the freedom fighter quota, the rules issued by the Government shall be followed.
Nursing Admission Seat Plan & Admit Card 2019
If the information given by the candidate who has appeared in the examination (which has been considered in determining the result) is incomplete or wrong, his or her examination/result/ admission will be considered canceled. The form immediately after the candidate/applicant completes the quota or any other quota by mistake (before submitting the money).
Have to fill Because, if the seat is allotted in the desired quota of the candidate, then the relevant papers of the quota cannot be shown. Seat allocation will be canceled. The selected candidate will have to submit the following document at the time of admission:

- The original academic transcript/grade sheet / mark sheet of SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination obtained from the education board
- 3 (three) copies of freshly taken passport size (colored by a first-class officer) colored photo
- The freedom fighter quota (the children of the freedom fighter/child) reserves the seat of the concerned freedom fighter ministry; Certificate signed by Honorable Minister / Minister and Secretary or given by Bangladesh Liberation War Parliament, And a certified copy of the certificate signed by the then Honorable Prime Minister
- The admit card containing the downloaded colored picture of the application in the course described
- Selected candidates from Open University, Bangladesh Technical Education Board and other curricula
Certificate of SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination certification from the Board in its charge
(Verify) to attend the course
- Citizens of Bangladesh who are pursuing SSC / HSC or equivalent in foreign education (O-Level/A-Level) programs. They have to convert their mark sheets passed into the conventional GPA in Bangladesh. After collecting you can apply online. In that case, Bangladesh will be subject to fixed fees Nursing and Midwifery Council, applying for Dhaka, accepting a marriage certificate or equalization certificate have to do.
- In the case of district quota, the citizenship certificate signed by the Chairman of the Union Council / Mayor of the Municipality / City Councilor to the Councilor must be submitted.
Other Instructions Needed to Follow for Nursing Admission 2019-20
(A) The Central Selection / Admissions Committee reserves the power to correct any defects in the result.
(B) On which institution the candidate will get admission will depend on the number obtained in the written examination and the choice made by the candidate.
(C) Initially selected candidates are considered eligible for admission if they pass the health examination under the management of the institution.
(D) Of the total seats under the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc in Nursing) and Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery Course, 90% female and 10% male students will be admitted.
(E) Any section of the rules relating to admission, change of subsection, amendment, amendment, addition, subtraction, and re-addition the authority preserves jurisdiction. The decision of the Central Election / Admission Committee is the final decision on any matter related to admission will be taken into consideration.
Opportunities and restrictions during the course:
(A) cannot study at any other educational institution during the course of the course;

(F) No TA / DA will be provided for attending the course;
(G) After the completion of the course, no guarantee of government service will be provided;
(H) The dress should be worn according to the dress code during the study period.
